The 12" Disk Sander






I'm not as fond of these as some people are. Changing the sanding disk is quite a project for me. Also, I haven't found anything I could do with it that can't be done just as easily on my belt sander.

However, it takes a few seconds to set up a belt sander to grind a 45 degree bevel on a piece of handle material. This disk sander saves me that time because it is always set up to grind at 45 degrees. It may not seem like much but when I need it, I am very grateful for it.
