Chapter 1
(1) Knife outlines scratched onto metal
(2) Chef's knife being separated from cleaver
(3) Roughed out chef's knife
My blades are made by the stock removal method. This means I draw the profile of a blade directly on a bar of metal(1) and then saw(2), drill, grind, cuss and cajole until I've removed everything that falls outside the drawing(3).
