Traditional Loveless Style Hunter Dress Grade Style 1443

This is my interpretation of the traditional Loveless style hunter. I think there is a law that says every knifemaker has to make at least one.

There is a little filework on the back of the 4" hollow ground blade. The Sambar Stag handle sits behind a nickel silver guard and is framed by a buffalo horn spacer and butt cap. I also made a leather pouch type sheath to go with this knife.

Another moderately dressed up Hunter. This one has a brass guard, yellow spiny coral spacer, filework, and a Madrone Burl handle. The blade is S30V ....

Here's one with a stainless blade with no file work. The handle, made from California Buckeye Burl and a coral spacer, is a straight tapered design....

Another one with a coral spacer but this time the handle is a really nice two-toned piece of Black Ash Burl. The file worked 52100 carbon steel blade on this one is 4.5" rather than my usual 4" ....

This is my first blade made from my own damascus, also a 4.5". The spacer is turquoise and the handle is Water buffalo Horn....
