The Wizard - Style 54361
Here is my latest folder. It was for a customer who had very specific ideas about what he wanted in a folder. Basically, the customer provided drawings and, with only a few suggested changes, I built it.
This knife has an excellent blade/handle ratio and the 3 1/2" blade almost disappears into the handle. The scales are Carbon Fiber behind integral bolsters on a titanium frame. The BG-42 blade is almost a Wharncliffe but the edge curves up about a half inch from the tip. A pocket clip is standard on this 3.2 oz slim and slick (but not slippery) folder.
The Wizard - Style 64362
Another Wizard, this time with a spear point blade and a frame lock. This knife is 7" overall when opened and yet it weighs an incredible 2.3 ozs and is barely 3/8ths of an inch thick!
The Wizard - Style 61362
A flat ground spear point blade of ladder pattern stainless damascus and a frame lock, Ivory Paper Micarta(R) scales and a thumb disc.
The Wizard - Style 54361
This Wizard has the modified Wharncliffe blade but this time it's made of D2 and Rockwells about 60.5 on this one. The Carbon Fiber scales are domed a little which makes the handle fatter but brings out the pattern in the handle a little more.
The Wizard - Style 64362
Another spear point blade but this one has the distinction of being the first where I have used a thumb disc instead of a thumb stud. Also, the detent ball in this knife is made of ceramic, another first for me. Getting more hi-tech every day....
The Wizard - Style 54312
Maybe the fanciest Wizard yet. A stainless damascus blade in ladder pattern with a Purple Cat's Eye in the thumb stud. The solid titanium handle has been decorated with purple and blue anodizing. The inside handle surfaces have been jeweled.
The Wizard - Style 54611
S30V blade with a Tiger's Eye thumb stud, Ironwood Burl scales...
